Job summary

Bis Henderson Recruitment is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a busy finance team in Cannock. You will blend management accounting expertise with the ability to translate complex financial data into practical insights for operational leaders and budget holders.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will prepare weekly and monthly accounts, perform variance analysis, develop KPIs and dashboards, and support budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on management accounting experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, with governance understanding.
• Excellent communication skills to explain financial information to non-finance audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review weekly and monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Build relationships with operational leaders and budget holders.
• Translate data into clear commercial insights for decisions.
• Challenge expenditure and drive accountability across departments.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with driver-based planning.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and management information with commentary.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for proposals.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, cost control and productivity.
• Assist with VAT and year-end reporting and audit requirements.
