Commercial Finance Manager, Manufacturing - £80k PACKAGE

VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with an innovative market leading manufacturer in helping recruit a commercially astute Commercial Finance Manager to take on a pivotal role within the growing finance team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, The Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely transactional finance, HMRC compliance, internal financial reporting, external financial reporting bodies (grants), financial budgets and forecasts, ERP projects and improvements, business information to support strategic and departmental requirements.

About you
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years PQE gained within a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong MS Excel skills and systems experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
What you ll do
  • Lead monthly management accounts
  • Lead on Grant reporting, supporting internal stakeholders and consortium partners
  • Lead Transactional Finance Team
  • Lead on treasury activities including systems to support timely and accurate forecasting/analysis
  • Support global Payroll
  • Identify and implement improvements to company wide ERP system
  • Line management responsibilities to include mentoring
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
