Overview

As a strategic business partner, you’ll be at the forefront of change – streamlining financial processes, enhancing performance insights, and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead month-end close for sales and production, ensuring accuracy across sales, costs, and inventory.
  • Deliver performance insights on P&L, identifying trends risks and opportunities
  • Automate and improve reporting processes to eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Present commercial P&L packs to leadership.
  • Advise sales teams on cost control, pricing, and inventory optimisation.
  • Model financial scenarios to support decisions
  • Drive margin improvement through expert commercial analysis.
  • Manage rebate accruals and annual customer rebate calculations.
  • Build robust rebate models to protect product contribution margins.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for commercial P&L segments.
  • Challenge assumptions and align forecasts with strategic goals.
  • Develop KPIs that link operational performance to financial outcomes.
What we’re looking for
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven success in commercial finance roles within sales or manufacturing or construction
  • Experience with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven business partnering skills including analysis
  • Strong grasp of standard costing and inventory
