Investigo Limited is partnering with a market-leading retail business to recruit a high-performing Commercial Finance Manager in Milton Keynes. This fast-paced, high-visibility role will influence operational performance, strategic initiatives, and commercial outcomes across the business.

You will partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight, challenge decisions, and accelerate career growth within a supportive, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments such as retail, FMCG, logistics, or similar complexity.
• Proven business partnering and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent commercial acumen and ability to turn data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance performance reporting with KPI-driven accountability.
• Provide commercial insight to support pricing, cost efficiency, investments, and operational improvements.
• Partner with leaders to challenge thinking and improve performance across the business.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning, translating drivers into financial outcomes.
• Evaluate transformations and prioritise investments delivering greatest value.
• Deliver clear, actionable analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a commercially focused culture.
• Maintain robust financial governance and controls.

About You

We're looking for an individual who combines strong technical finance skills with commercial curiosity and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.

You’ll likely have:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
• Experience within a fast-paced, high-volume environment such as retail, FMCG, logistics or a similarly complex business
• A strong track record of business partnering and influencing decision-makers
• Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insight
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• The resilience and adaptability to operate in an evolving environment
• A desire to understand the drivers behind performance, not just report the numbers
• The ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge constructively, and deliver practical solutions
