Job description

Commercial Finance Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Finance Manager to work closely with the operational teams across Treatwell. This role will be responsible for driving efficiency and profitability within the high-performing Commercial Finance team. Leveraging your financial acumen, you will drive business performance by leveraging data-driven insights, managing financial planning, and mitigating risks. You will offer critical financial insights, maintain strong cost control, and foster collaboration between the key business areas. As part of the Commercial Finance team you will gain unique end-to-end visibility of Treatwell's financial picture. You will support the team to deepen understanding of finance performance, helping to drive the next stage of Treatwell's growth. You'll play a key role in supporting the business through delivering insights that bring the numbers to life for operational stakeholders and the wider finance team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with operational teams across Treatwell to drive efficiency and profitability as part of the Commercial Finance team
  • Providing data-driven insights, managing financial planning, and identifying/mitigating risks
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the business, contributing to both top-line and bottom-line goals
  • Delivering insightful analysis to support decision-making and facilitate collaborative problem-solving
  • Providing critical and objective perspectives to challenge and support business leaders
  • Managing risk through regular performance reviews and proactive identification of risks and opportunities
  • Leading planning and forecasting processes and driving the creation of comprehensive financial plans
  • Reviewing management reports and highlighting risks and growth opportunities
About you:
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent), with strong core financial skills
  • 4+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or business strategy roles
  • Proven track record in Marketplace, e-commerce, or SaaS environments
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for various stakeholders
  • Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Able to work at pace, with energy and curiosity in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with a collaborative approach
  • Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and familiar with analytical tools and ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Excel/G-Sheets, Looker)
  • Creative thinker with a small ego and a big-picture mindset
