Job Purpose/summary:

The Commercial Finance Manager will play a key role working in partnership with the business to drive financial performance and strategy development through the provision of real time support and analysis.

Key accountabilities/responsibilities:

• To own the review of monthly reporting on performance of business units to support achievement of business and financial objectives
• Provide insightful analysis and advice on cost drivers, capital expenditure, KPIs and other measures
• Evaluate commercial data effectively and communicate articulately to non-financial stakeholders
• Identify efficiency opportunities and execute in partnership with business executives and Head of Commercial Finance
• Fortnightly updated forecast of financial performance of business areas including costs
• Delivery of annual budget and quarterly reforecasts for business units to the Board as requested
• Financial appraisal of potential new opportunities and investment requests
• Management and development of a finance analyst
• Work with the wider Finance Team to maintain an environment of continuous improvement
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with prior experience in a fast paced industry
• Experience with subscription-based or recurring revenue business models is desirable
• Organised, structured and results focused
