Commercial Finance Business Partner - Cheshire / Manchester

£70,000 - £75,000, bonus, benefits

The Company

This is a fast-paced environment with significant investment in systems and reporting capabilities.

The Role

A key role within the commercial finance team, responsible for leading forecasting and reporting processes, delivering high-quality insight to senior stakeholders, and supporting strategic decision-making across the group’s largest business unit.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead budgeting and reforecasting cycles, working closely with commercial and finance leadership
  • Own weekly and monthly reporting across key commercial and financial metrics
  • Analyse business performance across multiple territories, identifying areas for improvement
  • Enhance reporting systems and processes in collaboration with operational and data teams
  • Work alongside financial operations to ensure accuracy and completeness in revenue reporting
  • Contribute to strategic projects, including market development, operational efficiency, and potential acquisitions

The Candidate

We’re looking for a commercially driven finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering actionable insight.

You will bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering role
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-moving, data-rich environment
  • Results-oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
