Citadel Source is working with a leading, listed business to recruit a Commercial Finance Lead – Bids and Tenders. This role is primarily remote and involves leading the finance aspects of the division, supporting business growth through bids and tenders, and partnering with the management team.

About you

The ideal candidate is confident, personable, with strong partnering skills, capable of relating complex financial data to senior leadership, and eager to drive continuous improvement to accelerate business growth.

The role

This position involves supporting the development of budgeting and forecasting processes, setting targets, identifying risks and opportunities, and tracking progress with the senior leadership team.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team
• Building relationships across all levels of the business
• Managing a team of twelve finance professionals
• Ensuring all finance elements of bids meet requirements
• Leading financial analysis and modelling for bids
• Ensuring compliance with bid templates
• Testing sensitivities and scenarios to inform risk and opportunity assessments
• Developing funding strategies for bids
• Leading finance governance processes
• Developing and owning the bidding finance framework
• Supporting colleagues with financial guidance
• Collaborating with the Mobilisation team post-bid
• Promoting process improvements and best practices
