Citadel Source is working with a leading, listed business to recruit a Commercial Finance Lead – Bids and Tenders. This UK-based role is primarily remote and involves leading the finance aspects of the division, supporting new business acquisition through tenders, and partnering with senior management.

About you

The ideal candidate will be confident, personable, and skilled in financial partnering, able to communicate complex financial data to senior leadership, and focused on continuous improvement to support business growth.

The role

This position involves supporting the business's budgeting and forecasting, setting targets, identifying risks and opportunities, and tracking progress with the senior leadership team.

Your responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team
• Building relationships across all levels of the business
• Managing a team of twelve finance professionals
• Ensuring all finance aspects of bids meet requirements
• Leading financial analysis and modeling for bids
• Overseeing bid financial model compliance
• Testing bid sensitivities and scenarios
• Developing funding strategies for bids
• Leading finance governance and approval processes
• Creating and maintaining the finance framework for bidding
• Supporting colleagues and liaising with post-bid teams
• Driving process improvements and best practices
