Commercial Finance Lead
Manchester City Centre
£90,000 – £100,000 | Onsite Parking + Full SLT Benefits

We’re working with a seriously impressive, PE-backed business in the heart of Manchester. They’re growing fast, and they’re looking for a top-tier Commercial Finance Lead to work directly with the CFO as their go-to No.2 on all things commercial.

This is a big role – not just BAU finance, but high-level strategy, planning, M&A, investment decisions, and real influence over the direction of the business.

You’ll be right at the centre of things:

  • Building 5-year plans, owning the budgeting/forecasting process
  • Challenging assumptions and supporting senior leaders across the business
  • Working closely with the investors and being part of key conversations
  • Playing a hands-on role in future M&A and bolt-on acquisitions
  • Building your own team of analysts and business partners over time

The CFO is clear – this isn’t just about keeping things ticking over. They want someone who’s hungry, ambitious, and excited to push boundaries. You’ll have the chance to put your own stamp on the role and grow into a Director position in the near future.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong background in commercial finance
  • Experience working in or with PE-backed businesses
  • Someone who enjoys data, insight, and driving performance
  • A strategic mindset, but not afraid to get stuck in

Culture-wise, it’s high energy, forward-thinking, and fast-paced. This is a leadership role in a business that’s going places.
