Job Description:

An exciting multi-channel retailer is currently recruiting for a commercially focused Finance Director, who will sit on the leadership team and help shape and drive the business forward in both their UK and international expansion.

Some of the duties of the successful Finance Director include:

• Leading all commercial finance matters and implementing best-in-class processes that will withstand periods of high growth
• Partnering with department heads to understand key issues and business drivers
• Educating physical store teams on the importance of accuracy, budgets vs forecasts, etc.
• Co-leading fundraising activities
• Guiding the company’s strategy and taking control of both the in-year and 3-year strategic plans
• Overseeing core finance functions such as month-end close as the head of Finance
• Serving as the escalation point for external auditors during the annual audit process

Experience and qualifications for the successful Finance Director include:

• CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification with several years of post-qualification experience
• Strong leadership experience managing and driving high-performance teams
• PE/VC experience is desirable but not essential
• Fundraising experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience in the consumer industry is preferred
