Location: HARIBO Castleford (Hybrid working - 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 from home) - occasional travel may be required

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support HARIBO's Wholesale channel and be part of the sweet life at HARIBO!

You will report directly to the Head of Commercial Finance and work within a team of four. Your main responsibilities will include acting as a financial business partner to the Sales team, providing insights, analysis, and guidance on key business decisions, driving profitable growth with wholesale customers, and assisting with the transition to our new SAP system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial advice to the Wholesale Sales team, including insights and guidance on business decisions.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to forecast wholesale sales accurately.
• Own the financial appraisal of promotional and trade investment opportunities, ensuring compliance and control of spend.
• Quantify the impact of strategic decisions, challenge assumptions using data, and perform scenario analysis.
• Ensure sales and trade investments are correctly set up and reported in SAP during the transition.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant with experience in commercial accounts, preferably within the UK wholesale industry.
• Proficient in Excel, capable of handling large data volumes with accuracy.
• Excellent communicator, confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Professional, positive, and adaptable attitude with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Knowledge of Movex/M3 and SAP is desirable; German language skills are a plus but not essential.
