Your Role: As a Business Partner, you’ll collaborate closely with the retail operations team, providing commercially focused insights. Your role involves adding value, challenging assumptions when necessary, and building strong relationships. You’ll understand the big picture, influence decision-making, and engage in senior-level meetings. This position focuses on cost management rather than revenue generation. You’ll work alongside other senior stakeholders and functional teams in finance, taking ownership of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making. Understanding key drivers will be essential.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:

1. Experience: You’re an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner or FP&A specialist. Alternatively, candidates with Head of Finance experience in medium-sized organisations, driving operational change, will also be considered.
2. Consultative Approach: You excel at providing expert advice, interpreting financial data, and adding value.
3. Operational Change: Candidates who have driven operational change are ideal.
4. Personality: Confidence, down-to-earth communication, and the ability to convey complex concepts informally to operational teams are crucial.
