We’re hiring for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team in London supporting on a Transformation Program on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Purpose of the Role

The Transformation Program Finance Business Partner will be part of the EMEA Commercial Finance team working to deliver key financial analysis and deliverables in connection with the transformation program aiming to increase profitability in the Region. This position will report to the Commercial Finance Business Partner for EMEA with one direct report and will work closely with the country and global finance teams and EMEA FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and quality check submitted business cases, providing support to the markets where needed and being the go-to person to provide further information regarding submissions.
  • Prepare business cases for governance submission, quality checking deliverables, producing summaries and presentations on status of the project.
  • Prepare requests for budget target relief submission.
  • Reconcile excel submissions against forecasted figures in the system.
  • Work closely with the FP&A team to make sure the impact on budgeting, forecasting and month -end is clear.
  • Manage a commercial finance analyst.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Solid experience in financial business analysis in a comparable role with aptitude to business partnering showing commercial acumen and proven capability to discuss financial performance with business stakeholders.
  • Experience producing financial summaries that are clear and self-explanatory and explaining financial matter to non-financial personnel (will be collaborating with HR and operations).
  • Experienced user of Finance (consolidation) systems, preferably BPC/SAC.
  • Strong communication, influencing, collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Clear record of being curious, robust, and shrewd, driving improved financial performance within a business.
  • Part qualified accountant or equivalent commercial finance accreditation is desirable.

  • The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Wednesday and Thursday.
