About the Role

1. Assist the Commercial Finance Manager with budgeting and forecasting, including volume, sales, margin, and distribution points by product sector. Prepare slide decks and commentary for senior leadership presentations.
2. Maintain and develop Deal Evaluator models for assessing new and existing business opportunities. Act as a business partner to the salesforce, providing commercial advice and supporting decision-making.
3. Present at monthly sales management meetings, explaining detailed information to both financial and non-financial staff.
4. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Legal, Credit Control, and Marketing to ensure all commercial deal elements are coordinated. Analyze low-margin products, conduct trend, gap, and account churn analyses to identify business trends and suggest profitability improvements. Participate in cross-functional projects.

About You

1. Developing as a business partner, using your knowledge to contribute to decision-making and identify business issues. Skilled in data modeling and manipulation to provide valuable insights.
2. Demonstrate evolving leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. Build credible relationships through strong interpersonal skills.
3. Qualified accountant with approximately two years of analytical experience, capable of engaging at all levels of the business. A relevant degree is beneficial but not essential. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required.
4. Passionate about commercial finance and eager to make a significant impact in our business.
