Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly capable and commercially minded Commercial Finance Analyst to support the rapidly growing PlayStation Subscriptions (Services) business. As part of a high-performing and passionate team, you’ll work across finance and commercial functions, driving value through deep analysis, business partnering, and continuous improvement of processes and tools.
This role will report to the Senior Finance Manager and work closely with global stakeholders across the FP&A, Accounting and Services business partners

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and lead the financial forecasting, MRP and actuals reporting for the Subscriptions business
  • Deliver insightful commentary on P&L performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support the migration and development of planning processes and tools, driving improvements in forecast accuracy and reporting efficiency
  • Partner with stakeholders across finance and commercial teams to ensure alignment on assumptions, key inputs, and business initiatives
  • Support wider commercial finance activities including promotion evaluations and content deal management
  • Deliver clear and concise financial presentations for leadership using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Contribute to maintaining “one version of the truth” across data sources and business plans
  • Use of data visualisation (e.g. Tableau/Domo) or SQL skills to enhance analysis and insights - nice to have, not required

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a commercial finance, FP&A, or financial business partnering role (typically 3–5 years+)
  • Strong forecasting and financial modelling skills
  • Highly proficient using Excel/PowerPoint
  • Experience delivering insightful commentary and recommendations based on financial data
  • Comfortable operating in a global, matrixed organisation and working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills – ability to challenge and influence effectively
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
  • Desirable but not essential: exposure to planning systems (e.g. Anaplan), data tools (Tableau/Domo), or SQL
  • Experience in subscription-based, digital, or entertainment businesses is a plus

Benefits:

  • Discretionary bonus opportunity
  • Hybrid Working Model (Flexmodes)
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Dental Scheme
  • 25 days holiday per year
  • On Site Gym
  • Subsidised Café
  • Free soft drinks
  • On site bar
  • Access to cycle garage and showers
