Job summary

Investigo is seeking a Finance Analyst for a hybrid, full-time role to support operational decision-making across a large, multi-site estate. The ideal candidate will provide financial insight, partner with senior finance colleagues and operational stakeholders, and help drive profitability through data-led decisions.

This position welcomes study towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA or relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and experience in budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and variance

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance Analyst, Management Accounts, Commercial Finance, or similar role.
• Progress towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA or equivalent.
• Strong Excel skills and ability handle large data.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Proactive problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with finance and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce regular financial and operational performance reports.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Investigate variances and provide meaningful commentary for decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and planning activities.
• Prepare journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor operational expenditure and identify cost-control opportunities.
• Support governance and reporting processes.
• Assist with month-end activities and deadlines.
• Partner with operational teams to understand financial performance.
• Contribute to review meetings with commercial insight.
