Job summary

IRIS Software Group in the UK is seeking a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join the Commercial Finance team. You will partner with Sales and Marketing to deliver financial insight, support planning, and drive business performance.

You’ll forecast, budget, report and perform commercial analysis, gaining exposure to FP&A and business partnering, with opportunities to influence strategic decisions across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Management Accounting, or Finance Business Partnering.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights.
• Advanced Excel with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting and reporting across Sales and Marketing, including overheads and headcount.
• Assist budgeting and long-term planning processes.
• Support month-end activities, including accruals, PO approvals and balance sheet responsibilities.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to manage costs and improve financial performance.
• Analyse marketing investments and campaign performance to provide actionable insights.
• Support newly acquired businesses with aligning forecasts, reporting, and KPIs to IRIS standards.
• Deliver financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and commercial initiatives across the business.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the wider finance team to drive continuous improvement.
