We’re hiring for a Commercial Finance Analyst EMEA to join our EMEA Commercial Finance team in London supporting on a Transformation Program on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Purpose of the Role

As Transformation Program Finance Analyst - EMEA HQ, you’ll be part of our EMEA Commercial Finance team working to deliver key financial analysis and deliverables in connection with a transformation program aiming to increase profitability in the Region, with specificity towards the initiatives/actions pertaining to the regional EMEA HQ entity.

This position will report to the Commercial Finance Business Partner for EMEA with a shared line to the Transformation Program Finance Business Partner and will work closely with the country and global finance teams and EMEA FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate P&L costs and determine accounting as restructuring or above operating profit, cost to achieve or business as usual (BAU) or related to the transformation program.
  • Report cost to achieve in accounting systems and validate inputs from payroll (e.g. severance / garden leave).
  • Align accounting from headcount in other clusters, tracking and correcting headcount data where needed.
  • Validate updated initiatives/actions tracker with actuals and provide monthly updated planning investments and savings in global templates, validating program reporting vs BAU reporting and resolve discrepancies.
  • Participate in PMO discussions, template setting, etc and work with owners to make update by initiative.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Experience in financial business analysis in a comparable commercial finance role, producing financial summaries that are clear and self-explanatory and driving improved financial performance within a business.
  • Experienced user of Finance (consolidation) systems, preferably BPC/SAC.
  • Able to explain financial matter to non-financial personnel.
  • Aptitude to business partnering showing commercial acumen with proven capability to discuss financial performance with business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, influencing, collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Part qualified accountant or equivalent commercial finance accreditation is desirable.
