Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a finance professional to drive FP&A outputs for a renewable energy organisation based in Alloa, Scotland. The role focuses on budgets, forecasts, KPIs and financial modelling to support strategic decisions.

You will partner with operational and development teams, contribute to new ventures such as hydrogen and EVs, and build robust financial models for greenfield projects, acquisitions and existing sites.

Qualifications

• Strong background in accounting or finance.
• Professional qualification CA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Driving FP&A outputs, including budget setting, actuals to budgets, forecasts, KPIs and financial modelling.

Profile

• A strong background in accounting or finance
• CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to efficiently manipulate large datasets, perform complex data analysis, create dynamic financial models, and utilise advanced formulas and functions to solve problems and support decision-making.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. SAGE would be an advantage

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from 45,000 to 55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
