Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst


Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth (HMNBP)

Service Area: Finance

Hours of Work: 37 Per week

What You’ll be doing:

As a Commercial Finance Analyst at KBS Maritime, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic business decisions by analysing financial data, identifying trends, and delivering insights to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work closely with the Commercial teams, contributing to cost modelling, pricing strategies, and financial forecasting. Your responsibilities will include preparing budgets, conducting variance analysis, and developing cost models to evaluate business opportunities and risks. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide recommendations that support customer-facing commercial discussions.

You’ll Have:

To succeed in this role, you should ideally bring 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis or commercial finance. Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP or Power BI is advantageous. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business is beneficial, and professional qualifications like CIMA or ACCA are considered a plus.
