Job description

Commercial Finance Analyst
Chiswick Hybrid (3 days in office, Monday mandatory)
Circa 50,000 + Bonus
Newly Created Role Permanent, Full–Time

Please note experience in a multi–site business is essential.
This means having worked in a company with multiple operating locations (e.g., stores, venues, restaurants, or hotels) supporting performance across several sites, not just head office.

Cedar is exclusively partnered with a highly recognisable, fast–growing hospitality business to recruit a newly created Commercial Finance Analyst role. With hundreds of sites across the UK and ambitious growth plans, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at the forefront of its sector.

You'll act as a true business partner across operations, marketing, and senior leadership, using data and financial insights to shape key commercial decisions and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Analysis – Evaluate revenue and profitability across food, beverage, and accommodation offerings within both managed and tenanted businesses.
  • Business Partnering – Work closely with operational leaders, marketing, and executive chefs to shape strategy and drive results.
  • Reporting & Insights – Deliver weekly KPI dashboards and sales reports, providing clear, actionable insights to non–finance stakeholders.
  • Commercial Support – Support pricing strategy, competitor benchmarking, and product mix decisions using financial and market data.
  • Planning & Forecasting – Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing analytical support to commercial functions.
  • Data Tools – Leverage Power BI and Excel to enhance reporting and automate insight delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Part–Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) – You'll ideally be well underway with your exams.
  • Must have experience in a multi–site business – Retail or hospitality background strongly preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen – Confident in turning data into strategy, and working closely with non–finance teams.
  • Advanced Excel & Power BI skills – Able to build reports and deliver insights independently.
  • Excellent communication skills – Comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels.

If you're looking for a commercially focused role where you can make a visible impact in a dynamic, growing business this is the opportunity for you.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
