Job description

  • Review and Analysis: Understand and analyse the end-to-end financials for various revenue streams, including site fee income, caravan sales, holidays, and other trading initiatives.
  • KPI and Metrics Analysis: Analyse core financials and relevant KPIs to provide dependable information for understanding top-line performance.
  • Support Financial Analysis: Assist the Finance Business Partner in interrogating financial data to gain insights into top-line trading and other cycles, aiding in decision-making.
  • Financial Statement Fundamentals: Understand the components of financial statements related to top-line trading and fleet operations, collaborating with other teams to solve problems and measure performance.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend meetings and present insights on business areas, helping the business understand risks, opportunities, and financial implications of decisions.
  • Budget Development: Provide analysis to key stakeholders for developing annual budgets and aligning financial planning with business strategy.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Report Development: Collaborate with finance and BI teams to develop regular reports for understanding business performance.
  • Strategic Financial Knowledge: Provide financial knowledge in strategic initiatives, identifying tax or working capital implications, and translating metrics into reportable financial metrics.
  • Risk and Opportunity Identification: Identify potential finance risks or opportunities and work with stakeholders to mitigate or maximise them.
  • Periodic Reporting: Contribute to periodic reporting and attend business meetings to meet stakeholder requirements and provide insights to senior management.
