Commercial Finance Analyst
Leicester (Hybrid Working - 2 Days in & 3 Days remote)
12-month FTC
£50,000 - £55,000

SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a business on a 12-month FTC in Leicester. The Finance Analyst will be reporting to the Head of Finance and will be part of a large, well-run finance department. The purpose of this role is to improve commerciality and financial understanding and to ensure accountability for budgetary control. This is a fantastic time to join our client with several growth plans and exciting projects taking place. The position is initially a 12-month FTC with a great chance of turning permanent following a successful 12-month period.

The ideal Commercial Finance Analyst will be immediately available, a qualified accountant with strong IT, Excel, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpretation and validation of the monthly results delivering results on financial performance and KPIs.
2. Provide valuable analysis to influence the decision-making process and support in the delivery of strategic initiatives.
3. Identify areas of concern, emerging trends, and opportunities, and present this information in a logical and compelling way.
4. Provide insightful reporting where required to the wider business.
5. Provide analytical support including but not limited to profitability analysis, business review presentations, and other sales or marketing analysis requests.
6. Work independently and cross-functionally to provide detailed, accurate, and timely reporting.

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA or equivalent) with excellent analytical and business partnering skills.
