Qualifications

Overview

Commercial Finance Analyst

Circle Business Services

37.5 Hours & Permanent

Salary: Competitive Salary Plus Benefits (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team of staff.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

  1. You deliver timely and accurate information to enable the production of group management reporting, identifying trends and exceptions.
  2. You provide support for month end deadlines and quarter end completeness, specifically around hospital accruals and prepayments.
  3. You support with the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts across all Circle hospitals.
  4. You review hospitals P&L for accuracy and completeness.
  5. You maintain Circle financial Fixed Asset Registers ensuring the registers are reconciled monthly.
  6. You assist with the hospitals annual fixed asset verification exercise.
  7. You support with the production of the Quarterly Group VAT returns.
  8. You produce KPI dashboards and data as required.
  9. You provide support to the CBS Finance Manager in the delivery of finance reporting requirements as necessary.
  10. You assist with the delivery of budgets and forecasts for hospitals.
  11. You support change and the review of finance processes to improve overall efficiency & effectiveness.
  12. You provide advice to stakeholders on finance policy and processes.
  13. You ensure compliance with statutory and group obligations.
  14. You provide ad hoc analysis and provision of financial advice and reporting, to support decision-making and monitoring of financial performance.
  15. You provide support where required for all CBS CFA responsibilities.
  16. You attend Finance meetings as required by the business.
  17. You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

  1. Experience of working in a similar finance role
  2. Experience and proven ability of working to set deadlines
  3. Experience of multi-site or otherwise distributed working environments
  4. Able to build good interpersonal relationships across a range of stakeholders both internal and external
  5. Demonstrated ability to quickly appraise complex situations and to identify key issues.
  6. Strong technology skills, including computerised financial systems and Microsoft Office.
  7. AAT Qualified or studying towards a professional qualification would be advantageous (CIMA/ACCA)
