Coty UK&I is seeking a Commercial Strategy Assistant for a 12-month internship starting July 2027 in London. The role focuses on developing, implementing and analyzing commercial trends across the 4Ps for UK brands, with exposure to brands like Hugo Boss, Rimmel and Max Factor.

You will be the go-to expert on retail performance, deliver insights, and identify new commercial opportunities while gaining hands-on experience in pricing, promotions and channel insights including e-commerce.

• Passion for the beauty industry and trends awareness.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Experience of at least 6 months working with stakeholders in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

COMMERCIAL STRATEGY ASSISTANT – COTY UK&I

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

An ideal opportunity for a 13-months Graduate to join the Commercial Strategy team in our Coty UK&I supporting the team in developing, implementing and analysing commercial trends across the 4Ps (product, place, price and promotion) of our brands in the UK Market.

This opportunity offers a great deal of exposure and insight giving valuable experience to support your on-going studies and the opportunity to work on amazing brands such as Hugo Boss, Rimmel, Max Factor etc., to name a few.

• Be the key expert in understanding what is happening in our retail customers and how our brands are performing

• Provide presentations, insight and tracking which enables the Commercial Strategy team to get more competitor understanding on what is happening in the market

• Identify new commercial opportunities across each of the 4Ps and data that will help us to understand the market and retailer landscape

• Pricing & promotion analysis: tracking retailer activities so Coty can better understand market trends that could impact retail sales performance – be the expert in insight software including Nielsen/Circana Database (training to be provided)

• Channel insights: analyse how shopper behaviour and trends differ across different channels – with a key focus on E-commerce & digital as it becomes a bigger part of Coty’s business

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• A passion for the beauty industry, keenly following the latest trends

• Strong analytical skills with sound knowledge of Excel(V-look ups, data sets, pivot tables, formulas, combining tables, making charts), Word, and PowerPoint (with excellent presentational skills)

• Prior experince for atleast 6months working with stakeholders in the similar job role.

• Experience of working effectively in a team

• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

• Sense of initiative, creativity and problem solving

• Excellent communication, sharing opinions, ideas, proactive and interpersonal skills

• Working closely with the market and understand the market trends

• Ability to work effectively to deadlines

• Eligible to work in the UK without needing a sponsorship
