ROBERTS & PROWSE (SWINDON) LIMITED is recruiting time-served Electricians to join our team in Swindon and surrounding Home Counties. You will perform electrical installation, servicing and maintenance work in commercial and industrial environments, reporting to Contracts Managers.

We value exacting workmanship, compliance with BS7671:2018, and accurate paperwork. Benefits include a company vehicle, fuel card, pension, 28 days’ holiday and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Time served electrician with experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Must hold 18th Edition BS7671:2018+A2 2022.
• Ideally NVQ Level 3 or C&G equivalent.
• Full UK driving license.
• ECS Gold Card an advantage.
• IPAF & DBS advantageous.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specs.
• Experience with SWA, SY, YY, CY, Flex, Twin & Earth cables.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation work in commercial environments.
• Carrying out servicing and pre-planned maintenance tasks.
• Carrying out inspection and testing (Desirable).
• Complete Field Service Reports for Senior Electrical Contracts Managers.
• Supervise on-site labour and materials and meet deadlines.
• Keep accurate records of works, extras, delays.
• Order parts in absence of senior managers.
• Ensure works meet health and safety standards.
• Liaise with managers on safety issues and faulty equipment.
