Job summary

AWD online is seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join a growing facilities management team across the North West. The role focuses on maintaining and improving electrical systems in commercial estates, with AM2 and 18th Edition qualifications and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities include testing, planned maintenance, reactive repairs and RAMS documentation. A company van, fuel card and ongoing training support are provided, along with life insurance and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Substantial, relevant experience in a commercial environment.
• Fully qualified with AM2 and 18th Edition.
• Valid UK driving licence and CSCS Skill Card.
• Able to complete PPM paperwork, inspection sheets and RAMS.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and test/inspect existing installations.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and remedial work.
• Respond to reactive electrical repairs and meet deadlines.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company standards.
• Complete PPM paperwork, RAMS and inspection sheets accurately.
• Support colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
• Assist with broader building services maintenance as needed.
