Job summary

LS Elec Ltd in Peterborough is seeking a full-time Electrician to perform commercial electrical installations, including wiring, lighting and power distribution, on-site at client sites across the Peterborough area.

You will routinely conduct EICRs, remedial works, and install/maintain fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and EV charging points, while delivering reactive maintenance and fault-finding with strict adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electricity principles and commercial installations.
• Proficiency in installation, testing, inspection and certification to industry standards.
• Experience in maintenance, planned and reactive works in commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commercial electrical installations, including wiring, lighting and power distribution.
• Perform EICRs and identify remedial works.
• Install and maintain fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and EV charging points.
• Conduct reactive maintenance, fault-finding and troubleshooting to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate site documentation and follow health and safety procedures.
