Job summary

Valoris Group Limited is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician based in Peterborough to join a growing electrical contractor. The role focuses on EICR testing, fault-finding, reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance across commercial properties.

You will be responsible for safe, compliant electrical systems, including reporting and client liaison. A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience in electrical testing and inspection.
• Experience completing EICRs and producing accurate reports.
• Strong reactive maintenance and PPM experience.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and safety standards.
• City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out EICRs on commercial installations.
• Electrical inspection, testing and certification.
• Diagnosing faults and performing repairs.
• Responding to reactive maintenance and emergency callouts.
• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
• Completing reports and documentation to a high standard.
