Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Market Deeping is seeking an Electrician to join a dedicated team on large commercial and industrial electrical projects. The role involves installations, testing, commissioning and ensuring 18th Edition compliance.

You will travel to customer sites within about a one-hour radius of Peterborough, work Monday to Friday, and contribute to high-quality outcomes while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition qualification essential.
• Full driving licence with ability to travel to sites (within 1 hour of Peterborough).
• Able to work independently and as part of a larger installation team.
• Experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring compliance with 18th Edition regulations.
• Install and terminate SWA and PVC singles, as well as tray and basket containment systems, to a high standard.
• Perform testing, inspection, and certification of electrical works in line with industry standards and company procedures.
• Maintain strong client relationships by liaising with customer personnel and providing professional communication on-site.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are met at all times, adhering to company and statutory regulations.
• Provide project updates to the department manager, highlighting progress and identifying any potential issues promptly.

Skills & Experience Required as an Electrician:

• Full driving license with the flexibility to travel out to customer sites on a regular basis (1 hour max radius from Peterborough)
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a larger installation/fitout team
• Ideally have experience working on commercial or industrial electrical engineering works

It is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday.
