Job Description:

Our client is a growing construction company within the high-end residential space that takes on a variety of different projects, focusing primarily in London and the South of England. The company has experienced considerable growth over the last couple of years and is looking for an experienced Commercial Director to join the business. This role requires someone with a background in Quantity Surveying, who is very technical and has a proven background in this area.

This is a pivotal role in the business, reporting to the MD/Founder, managing a team, and taking responsibility for all commercial operations of Project/Quantity Surveying, Project Finance, Procurement. The role involves negotiating and working with third parties to ensure the best terms and prices are reached for the business.

You will be able to add real value and impact to the projects and the business as a whole. A background in the higher-end residential sector is a must, as is experience working for a design and build company.

Personality is key; we require someone with a hands-on, 'will do' approach. Although there is an element of flexibility, you will also be required to be present in the offices to be part of the business.
