Job summary

Morson Edge, on behalf of a well-known consultancy, is seeking a Commercial Director to lead the Water/Utilities division from Peterborough. The role demands senior commercial leadership on major infrastructure programmes worth hundreds of millions, with a proven track record in complex engineering and utilities environments.

You will own NEC contract management, procurement governance and risk controls, influence at Executive and Board level, and deliver successful commercial outcomes in

Qualifications

• Significant senior commercial leadership experience delivering major infrastructure programmes valued at hundreds of millions of pounds or more.
• Proven track record of leading commercial strategy within complex engineering, utilities, infrastructure or construction environments.
• Extensive experience of NEC contracts and commercial management across large capital programmes.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, contract administration, commercial governance and risk management.
• Experience operating within regulated environments and delivering successful commercial outcomes through collaborative delivery models.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Executive, Board and partner level.
• A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional membership with recognized institution such as RICS, CIOB or CICES (or equivalent).
