£90,000 Basic Salary, £110,000 OTE in year one, rising to £120K Basic, £150K OTE in future years.

This is not just another management position; it is an opportunity to shape the future of a thriving UK operation supported by the strength of a global leader.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Leader ready to take the next step towards becoming a Managing Director. In this role, you will oversee three sales teams, each led by Sales Directors focusing on distinct market niches. All sales are via distribution channels, serving three different markets.

This is a genuine Managing Director Designate position where you will work closely with the current Managing Director to learn about running a business, including Marketing, HR, finance, Service, and logistics. It is anticipated that you will take over the business within six to twelve months.

In return, as a Senior Sales Director you will receive:

  • A starting base salary of approximately £90,000 and a bonus of around £20,000 based on achieving Year One targets.
  • As responsibilities increase, your base salary will rise to a total package of £150,000.
  • A comprehensive executive benefits package, including a car or car allowance.

Requirements to apply for the Senior Sales Director role:

  • You are a Sales Director eager to advance your career, possibly having reached a plateau or earned an MBA, seeking to become a top leader.
  • You have received recognized management training.
  • You thrive in a distribution environment and understand how to increase sales through distribution channels. Note: applicants without experience selling through distributors will not be considered.
  • You are a proven Sales Director who has led diverse sales teams.
  • You possess a strong desire for growth, a hands-on approach, and a strategic mindset.
  • You inspire others and lead by example.
  • You are prepared to take on general management responsibilities.
  • This role offers a platform to leverage your experience, ignite your ambition, and make a lasting impact.

Your role as Senior Sales Director:

  • Manage sales and service operations in the UK while gaining experience in HR, marketing, finance, service, and logistics for future development.
  • This role involves mastering your responsibilities and building a lasting legacy.
  • You are expected to achieve at least 5% annual growth, a non-negotiable target.
  • The position is 99% autonomous, reporting directly to the CEO of the European Manufacturer, who empowers country leaders to shape the business strategy.
  • The company invests heavily in R&D, leading to significant market share growth and a commitment to innovative products and customer excellence.
