Overview

Commercial Development Executive
£40,000 – £60,000 DOE
Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Hybrid (Nottingham/Derby)

We’re looking for a strategic, results-driven Commercial Development Executive to join our client’s management team and take ownership of developing, growing, and retaining their commercial client base. They are looking for a capable, highly experienced Insurance Commercial Insurance Executive who is driven and relationship led. This is a pivotal position where you’ll drive revenue growth by maximising opportunities with existing clients, uncovering new markets, and expanding our product offering. You’ll be a leader, a strategist, and a relationship builder — with the freedom to make a real impact.

Duties

• Create and deliver growth strategies for existing and new clients
• Identify fresh opportunities, products, and markets
• Build strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented team of Commercial Account Handlers
• Collaborate with marketing to launch targeted campaigns
• Play an active role in shaping the company’s business plans as part of the Management Team
• Ensure FCA compliance, accurate quotations, and smooth interdepartmental communication

• Proven track record in winning and developing Commercial Insurance business
• Strategic thinking with a creative, problem-solving mindset
• Inspiring leadership and a “can-do” approach
• Cert CII qualification (Acturis knowledge a plus)
• Knowledge of FCA guidelines, commercial insurance classes & market condition
