Commercial Counsel, 3mths, £550-620pd (KUFHMG-828DB6A0) City of London, England

Leading transport and infrastructure business are looking for a Commercial Counsel to cover an interim period whilst the team replace an outgoing permanent member. The length of the contract depends largely on how long it takes them to recruit the replacement, but currently estimated to be at least 3 months. This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week required in the offices in Central London. You must be available to start by mid-June at the latest.

Working as part of a small team ensures that the remit will offer constant variety on a day-to-day basis. There will be a wide range of commercial contracts covering anything from services, sales and distribution, through to technology and IP. There will be also be queries with advisory input needed on areas such as construction, company secretarial, regulatory and financing matters.

The client believes that an individual with at least 8 years’ PQE would be well suited to the role, but applications from all levels will be considered on merit. You must possess extensive experience drafting contracts and providing legal advice, ideally within a regulated sector and preferably ‘hard-hat’ in nature (eg, utilities, infrastructure, transport, construction etc.)
