Job summary

Organic Growers Alliance is seeking an energetic income and partnerships role to help grow revenue for Northern Roots charity in Oldham. You’ll coordinate corporate bookings, events and room hire, and help develop new opportunities and a commercial offer.

You’ll oversee our shop and veg box scheme, support a growing network of on-site small businesses, and help shape a growing organisation. This fixed-term, full-time post ends 31 March 2027 with regular weekend work from August 2026.

Job description

This brand new role will play a key part in helping grow income to support the Northern Roots charity. You’ll coordinate corporate bookings, events and room hire in our new Welcome Building, oversee our shop and veg box scheme, and support a growing network of small businesses on site, from beekeepers to yoga practitioners.

Working closely with our Head of Income Generation, you’ll help develop new opportunities, shape our commercial offer and create inspiring experiences for visitors and partners. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape a new role, build skills across different income streams and be part of an ambitious, growing organisation.

Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027. Full time (37.5 hours a week) across 5 days. Regular weekend
working will be required once Northern Roots transitions to a seven day work pattern
from August 2026.
