We are looking for a Commercial Coordinator to join the growing Commercial Team. The department offers company wide support to our profit centres and focuses primarily on building relationships with key partners and tendering for project work across the UK. The department is formed of Commercial Director, Partnerships Manager, Commercial Manager, Local Authority Engagement Manager and Bid Lead. This role will report to the Partnerships Manager but will work closely with all department members in a supporting them in their daily activities. The role will be varied and requires a candidate that is adaptable, organised and focused.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Bid Lead on tenders, including pricing and estimating exercises, preparing quotations, and collating information required for submissions.
  • Monitor and track sales-related emails, ensuring opportunities are logged accurately via Salesforce.
  • Take responsibility for managing Able to Pay leads across our installer network — coordinating responses, tracking engagement, and supporting conversion into sales.
  • Provide administrative support for project delivery, including document control and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of templates and processes used in the bid and sales lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain reports tracking live project updates and performance against key delivery targets.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding to queries and ensuring a positive experience throughout the customer journey.
  • Work collaboratively with the Commercial Team, providing cover and support as required to maintain team efficiency.
  • Keep the Partnerships Manager informed of relevant updates, risks, and progress across bids, ATPs, and active projects.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Advanced Excel, MS Word
  • Experience in a Commercial or project environment
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A high degree of personal initiative, responsibility and commitment, coupled with integrity and enthusiasm in a potentially fast-paced environment.
