We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner who has experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, providing legal advice on corporate governance matters and commercial conveyancing transactions with a strong understanding of the law.
Working as a Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of commercial conveyancing matters, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and corporate transactions.
As a Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner you will have a strong understanding of the law and be able to provide sound legal advice in a timely manner. The firm is looking for someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who is able to work independently and as part of a team. This is an office-based role only (the firm are unable to offer hybrid/working from home).
DUTIES
Your duties as a Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner include:
- Drafting and Negotiating Commercial Contracts: You will be responsible for drafting a wide range of commercial agreements. This involves understanding client requirements, identifying potential risks, and negotiating terms with counterparties to achieve favourable outcomes for your clients.
- Advising Clients on Legal Issues Related to Commercial Conveyancing Transactions: You will provide expert legal advice to clients on a diverse range of commercial matters. This requires a strong understanding of commercial law principles and the ability to provide clear, practical, and commercially sound solutions.
- Researching and Interpreting Relevant Laws and Regulations: You will conduct thorough legal research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in commercial law, including relevant legislation, case law, and regulatory guidance. Your ability to accurately interpret complex legal information and apply it to client matters is crucial.
- Providing Legal Advice on Corporate Governance Matters: You will advise clients on various aspects of corporate governance and provide guidance on best practices and ensure their adherence to relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Liaising with External Solicitors and Other Professionals: You will collaborate effectively with external legal counsel on specialist matters, as well as other professional advisors such as accountants, financial consultants, and industry experts, to provide comprehensive and integrated advice to your clients.
- Representing Clients in Court Proceedings: You will represent clients in commercial litigation and other dispute resolution forums. This will involve preparing court documents, instructing counsel where necessary, and advocating for your clients' interests.
- Managing Client Relationships: You will build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with your clients by providing exceptional service, demonstrating a deep understanding of their businesses, and acting as a trusted legal advisor. This includes effective communication, proactive updates, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a similar commercial based role.
- Commercial conveyancing experience in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent client management skills.
- Strong understanding of the law.
- Experienced negotiator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
