Job Description

This key role within the business involves providing commercial reporting, modelling, and insights to support decision-making. Responsibilities include:

  • Performance analysis
  • Pricing and profitability assessments and cost-benefit evaluations
  • Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to deliver commercial data insights that support sustainable, profitable growth

The role requires working closely with the SLT to support the management and performance analysis of sales, pricing, occupancy, and margins, ensuring forecasts and budgets align with the company's growth objectives.

Ideal candidates will be able to translate commercial data into actionable insights, make strategic recommendations, and act as a Commercial Business Partner by influencing stakeholders' commercial strategies.

Responsibilities also include coordinating weekly sales reports, producing commercial performance dashboards, and working with the CFO to deliver sales and commercial data insights.

This position offers the opportunity to develop profitability models, contribute to 3-5 year Business Plans, identify future opportunities, and areas for growth.

Strong reporting skills are essential, with proficiency in SQL and Power BI preferred, along with experience working with BI tools. The candidate should be commercially minded, capable of developing complex budgets and forecasts from large datasets, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships from Manager to Board Level, adopting a partnering approach.

Qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA are preferred, along with significant experience in the travel or hospitality industry.
