JOB TITLE: Commercial Contracts Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED: 4+

LOCATION: Berkshire (Hybrid Working – 3 Days in Office)

This is an ambitious and well-established law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its dynamic team. This is a strategic senior-level hire offering a clear pathway to partnership, either now or in the near future. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Team Leader, driving the growth of the Commercial Contracts offering, and shaping the future direction of the team. You will manage your own caseload while contributing to mentoring, team development, and business growth. Core areas of work include Commercial contracts (including supply, distribution, SaaS, and licensing agreements), Intellectual property (registration, protection, and enforcement), and data protection and privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload in the area of commercial contracts and related services.
• Support the Team Leader and contribute to team growth and development.
• Mentor junior lawyers and assist with business development activities.
• Contribute to shaping the future direction of the Commercial Contracts offering.

Qualifications

• A solicitor with 4+ years of PQE (or equivalent experience) in commercial law.
• Strong foundation in commercial contracts, with experience in IP and data protection.
• Commercially astute with a pragmatic, client-focused approach.
• Ability to advise a broad client base, from SMEs to global corporations.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior lawyers.
