SF Recruitment are pleased to be working with a leading global research organisation to help recruit a Commercial Contracts Manager to their team. This role is a permanent full time opportunity, based from their Head Office in Nottingham. This role is a hybrid role, working 2 days from home.
Commercial Contracts Manager is needed to join the Business Development team in Nottingham you ll support a wide range of contract-related activities across the business and play a key role in helping us deliver high-quality to clients worldwide.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to negotiate, draft, and structure clear, commercially robust agreements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with both customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives, policies, and industry standards.
- Lead contract negotiations covering terms, scope, and delivery, while identifying risks and developing practical solutions.
- Advise internal teams on contract terms, obligations, and best practices.
- Support the full contract lifecycle, including process development and continuous improvement of templates and documentation.
- Minimise business risk and liability in accordance with company policies and contractual commitments.
- Deliver training on commercial and contractual matters when required.
- Provide support in managing contracts after execution, ensuring compliance and resolving issues.
Qualifications/Experience
- Degree in Business, Law (preferred).
- Solid experience in commercial contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements.
- Strong understanding of contract development, intellectual property, SLAs, SOPs, and service delivery ideally within a regulated environment.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage customer relationships.
- Commercially minded, with experience navigating complex, multi-client environments.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a track record of handling multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
