Job summary

DWF is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join our Commercial team, advising clients on commercial contracts across public and private sectors. The role is part of the Commercial, Regulatory and Data Practice Group with global support on procurement, AI, commodity contracting and other strategic areas.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in commercial contracts, with developing drafting and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with experience in commercial contracts.
• Strong drafting and written communication skills.
• Commercially minded and business-aware.
• Proven ability to build client and colleague relationships.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented with drive to progress.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply and services agreements and technology/IP deals.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts.
• Work with clients to build long-term relationships.
• Assist with due diligence in corporate transactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues nationally across DWF's commercial teams.
• Support business development and knowledge sharing.
• Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and deliver quality service.
• Develop technical and commercial knowledge through training and industry awareness.
