Job Description



We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Construction Solicitor to join a growing Leeds practice. The ideal candidate will have approximately five years' post-qualification experience and a strong background in non-contentious construction matters (although candidates with exceptional experience at a lower PQE level will also be considered).





This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across sectors including:

  • Food and Process Engineering

  • \t

  • Healthcare

  • \t

  • Sport





You will be responsible for advising on and drafting a wide range of construction documentation, including building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and associated project agreements. The role also involves the supervision and development of junior team members, making leadership and mentoring capabilities essential.





Key Requirements:




    \t
  • Qualified solicitor with circa 5 years' PQE in commercial construction law (although candidates with exceptional experience at a lower PQE level will also be considered)

  • \t

  • Proven experience advising clients across multiple sectors

  • \t

  • Strong technical skills and commercial awareness

  • \t

  • Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities

  • \t

  • Experience supervising junior lawyers or trainees

  • \t

  • Must be based within a commutable distance of Leeds
