Job Title: Commercial Catering Engineer

A leading commercial catering equipment company, based on the South Coast near Brighton, is seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer. The company supplies catering, hospitality, and public sectors, offering turnkey solutions including service, maintenance, repairs, and installations of all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. This vacancy arises due to increased demand and new contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Providing service, maintenance, and breakdown support for catering equipment such as fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers.
• Attending sites across East Anglia, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars.
• Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on catering appliances, including cook line equipment and warewashing systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Comcat 1, 3, and 5 qualifications, or electrical catering experience.
• Experience with Rational ovens and dishwashers is advantageous.
• Experience with electrical and gas catering equipment repair and maintenance.
• Full UK driving license.
• Ability to work within East Anglia, covering Norfolk and Suffolk.

Remuneration and Benefits:

• Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience.
• 40-hour workweek with door-to-door travel paid.
• 1 in 6 weeks call-out rota with paid retainer.
• Company van, fuel card, and potential for personal use.
• Overtime at 1.5x and 2x rates.
• 21 days holiday, rising to 25 days after 3 years, plus bank holidays.
