Job description

Job Title: Commercial Catering Engineer

We are seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer for a client based on the South Coast near Brighton. The company is a leading provider of commercial catering equipment, serving the catering, hospitality, and public sectors, and specializes in service, maintenance, repairs, and installations of all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment.

The role involves providing service, maintenance, and breakdown support for catering equipment including fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers. The engineer will attend sites across Leeds and surrounding areas, such as restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars. Candidates must hold Comcat qualifications (levels 1, 3, and 5).

Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on catering appliances, including cook line equipment and ware washing systems. Experience with Rational ovens and dishwashers is advantageous.

Requirements:

• Comcat 1, 3, and 5 qualifications (essential)
• Must be within commuting distance of Leeds and surrounding areas
• Industry experience in commercial catering equipment
• Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair & maintenance
• Experience with Rational and dishwashers (preferred)
• Full UK driving license

Benefits:

• Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 depending on experience
• 40-hour workweek
