Team/Role Overview:
The Head of Commercial Card Sales for UK, Europe and MEA is responsible for developing and executing a client-centric strategy to drive sales, market share, and Citi client growth through the provision of value-added cards, payments and working capital solutions, working with the broader TTS sales and coverage teams. The role has responsibility for talent acquisition and management of the regional cards sales organisation across three geographic Clusters inclusive of all client segments and industry sectors including Corporate large market (corporate bank), Commercial (SMB), Financial Institutions (FI), and Public Sector. This position is based in London.
This role reports to the Global Head of Commercial Card Sales with matrix reporting into the relevant Cluster Leads. As such, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment of our sales strategy and resources with our product strategy and broader treasury and procurement client penetration strategy, by actively shaping those strategies and leading the Cards sales team.
You will be responsible for alignment of our Cluster sales teams to drive growth across identified client opportunities by client segment and client industry, and building industry-specific content, expertise, and sales initiatives within the sales team. You will ensure consistent, professional delivery of all sales management reporting and strong disciplines including sales training and effectiveness, lead generation, network engagement, calling intensity, and revenue ramp.
The UK, Europe and MEA Sales Head is the senior representative of Cards and Citi to internal partners, and external client buying centers.
