The role of Commercial Business Partner is crucial to us. You will be responsible for Telematics cost management, ensuring we manage our supplier costs effectively and maximize profitability.

Join us at our new Telematics HQ in Crewe. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Your responsibilities day to day will include:

  • Owning the monthly performance metrics for your designated KPIs across Installation, Hardware, and other service costs related to Telematics, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Reporting on current and projected performance of the telematics cost base to stakeholders and advising on corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with operations and sales teams to develop systems and processes that promote continuous improvement.
  • Working with Financial Operations and the Revenue Business Partner to prevent leakage during billing.
  • Engaging in various ad-hoc projects related to functional cost areas and broader commercial initiatives.

What do we expect from you?

  • Strong analytical skills, capable of financial and business modeling.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar commercial role.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A clear understanding of the drivers behind weekly and monthly results compared to forecasts and prior periods.
  • A results-oriented approach focused on measurable business outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA accountant, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • A proven track record of process improvements and embracing continuous improvement methodologies.
