Job description

We are seeking a commercially minded and motivated Business Analyst. They will be part of our finance team but working day to day with the Aftersales (service and consumables) commercial team. The role is based within our Cambridge site (Melbourn Science Park). This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to be in the office 3-4 days a week.

This is an exciting role to be a key part of the finance and Aftersales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the budget and forecasting process, ad hoc financial and commercial analysis, KPI reporting and management reporting across the profit & loss.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Weekly reporting of order intake, revenue and KPIs
  2. Owning the install base database and monthly reporting
  3. Month end support to the UK Finance team for service revenue
  4. Maintaining data consistency across the ERP and our customer relationship management system (Salesforce)
  5. Prepare and present financial data to management
  6. Continuously seek to make improvements and drive efficiencies to support the needs of a growing business
  7. Ad-hoc projects and analysis as required
Skills & Attributes
  1. Fluent/native in English
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
  4. Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint creating presentations
  5. A team player and passionate about supporting a growth business
Nice to have:
  1. Data Visualization and Business Intelligence (Power BI or Tableau) creating insightful financial dashboards and reports
  2. Experience using ERP and CRM systems
