Job description

Our client is an ambitious independent insurance brokerage with several branches across the North of England. They are experiencing tremendous growth, making it a very exciting time to join the business.

They are currently looking to appoint an additional commercial broker / account handler to support the account executives dealing with a variety of commercial risks includes property, casualty, commercial combined and commercial motor risks including large fleet policies.

You will be dealing with new business enquiries, compiling submissions, negotiating with insurers, assisting client’s mid-term, marketing and negotiating renewals etc.

Ideal applicants will have a good knowledge of most commercial classes of insurance and be an effective administrator with excellent communication skills.

This is an ambitious and growing business, therefore an excellent company to develop a longer term career, however, if you’re just looking for a nice role and don’t have any major ambition to climb the career ladder, then we would be equally happy to hear from you.

This role comes with a basic salary of up to £28k + benefits and very pleasant and professional working environment.
